ODE TO THE BARIBAULTS

As all the Baribaults converge
To celebrate this fest
We all agree of one true fact
Our family is the best

Tommy, Dickie, Billy, Bud
Those boys are all the same
Five foot two with eyes of blue
Their father is to blame

The girls are like their mother
Proud of their own crew
Each of them would testify
Their kids are saints for true

Someone searched the family tree
And discovered it was large
She kindly brought it with her
We thank you Marge the Barge

Aline is sitting with a grin
Proud of her new teeth
The only one with nicer ones
Is Dear Old Uncle Keith

Speaking of our family’s teeth
Together we’ve fulfilled
All Orthodentist’s wildest dreams
They ought to be so thrilled.

The Icons of the Baribault Clan
Rosaire and Emma-Lou
Had a secret recipé
And it wasn’t for Raviou

The little secret that they shared
Was one of simple love
They must be smiling down at us
As they hold hands up above

Many years have come and gone
Since the two have left this earth
Their family still appreciates
What their love was worth

To Baribaults with grandchildren
And those who are still young
Let’s keep this custom alive and strong
In the future years to come
